106 House Republicans signed an amicus brief on Thursday in support of a long shot Texas lawsuit seeking to overturn the results of the election.
Mike Johnson (R-La.), who previously served on Donald Trump’s impeachment defense team helped lead the effort to garner support from his GOP colleagues for the brief, according to the Hill.

Forbes reports that Johnson told his colleagues Trump personally asked him to recruit supporters for the lawsuit, which aims to invalidate electors in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
“This brief presents [our] concern as Members of Congress, shared by untold millions of their constituents, that the unconstitutional irregularities involved in the 2020 presidential election cast doubt upon its outcome and the integrity of the American system of elections,” the brief states.
Legal experts say the lawsuit brought by Texas to the Supreme Court is all but certain to fail. So, this effort by the 106 House Republicans was essentially them showing their loyalty to Donald Trump.

Notably absent from the list of signatories were House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy and GOP Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney.
The suit brought by indicted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and supported by the Attorneys General of 17 other states claims the electoral votes from four swing states that Biden won should be invalidated because they expanded mail-in voting due to the Covid-19 outbreak resulted in widespread fraud and irregularities.
Even some some Republicans are finding it difficult to understand the merit of the case. Texas Sen John Cornyn told CNN, “I read just the summary of it, and I frankly struggle to understand the legal theory of it.”

We the people want the names of these 106 Traitors to the Constitution and our Democracy.
I know one of the traitor’s is Steve Scalise. He has people in Louisiana believing that he is for them when in reality he wants a dictator like trump. Scalise wants to end our democratic process of fair elections and he now leads a COUE. He wants to overthrow our democracy. These 106 are no LONGER FOR WE THE PEOPLE. THEY ARE FOR THEMSELVES AND TRUMP.
I want the names of them all. They will go down in history as “enemies of the people.”
I’ve updated the post to include their names. Thanks for reading!!
