Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that 137 Ukrainians were killed and hundreds more injured after President Vladimir Putin launched an all-out assault on the country with missiles, warplanes and tanks on Thursday.
“Today we have lost 137 of our heroes, our citizens. Military and civilian,” Zelensky said in a video address, adding that another 316 people had been injured. 10 of the Ukrainians killed were military officers
Zelensky also said Russian “saboteurs” had entered the capital of Kyiv and that Putin has “marked me as target number one, and my family as target number two,” he said.”
