Alex Jones slams Trump for encouraging his supporters to get vaccinated: "Maybe Trump’s actually a dumba**.”

Far-right conspiracy theorist and radio host Alex Jones called Donald Trump a “dumbass” for encouraging his supporters to get vaccinated at a rally in Alabama Saturday evening.

“I believe totally in your freedoms, I do, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do,” Trump told the crowd. “But I recommend that you take the vaccines. I did it. It’s good take the vaccines.”

Trump’s suggestion was met with boos in the state with the lowest vaccination rate in the country of about 36 percent.

“You’ve got your freedoms,” he responded. “But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know. Okay? I’ll call up Alabama, I’ll say, hey, you know what? But [the vaccine] is working. But you do have your freedoms you have to keep. You have to maintain that.”

Trump promoting vaccinations against COVID did not sit well with Jones who believes the former president was “being deliberately killed” when he was treated for Covid at Walter Reed last year and that the vaccines will actually “create mutants.”

In a clip published by watchdog group Media Matters for America, Jones called Trump’s vaccine advocacy, “BS.”

“Just two weeks ago they said it was 65%, then 40%, saw a number put out about Pfizer shots, 30-something percent,” Jones continued. ‘They just want to tell you it doesn’t work so you run and get the new damn shot. And then they’ll tell you in six months that one doesn’t work. It’s called rope-a-dope.”

“Shame on you, Trump,” Jones said “Seriously. Hey, if you don’t have the good sense to save yourself and your political career, that’s ok. At least you’re gonna get some good Republicans elected and you know, we like ya. But my god. Maybe you’re not that bright. Maybe Trump’s actually a dumbass.”
