Far-right anti-vax conspiracy theorist, Laura Loomer who once said eating bad fajitas is worst that COVID, has tested positive for COVID and is feeling like she “got hit by a bus.”
Loomer, a self described ‘proud islamophobe,” made the announcement on pro-Trump social media site Gettr, and is documenting her struggles and treatment plan on other fringe right-wing platforms since she was banned from all mainstream social media sites for her islamophobic views.
“Yesterday I was feeling ill. I had a fever, chills, a runny nose, sore throat, nausea and severe body aches that made my whole body feel like I got hit by a bus, and after sleeping for a few hours, my symptoms started to remind me of how I felt when I had a bad case of the flu a few years ago,” Loomer wrote. “I took a COVID test and it came back POSITIVE.”
She is not vaccinated and does not plan to because the vaccines are “unsafe and ineffective.” After her positive test, she started a treatment of Azithromycin, Hydrochloroquine and OrthoMune dietary supplement. She is also receiving Regeneron monoclonal antibody treatment.
Last year, Loomer told her followers on Parler that she hopes to catch COVID to prove to everyone that it was nothing serious.
“I hope I get COVID just so I can prove to people I’ve had bouts of food poisoning that are more serious and life threatening than a hyped up virus,” she wrote, according to the Daily Beast. “Have you ever eaten bad fajitas? That will kill you faster than COVID.”
Now, she’s begging her followers for prayers on Telegram.
“Just pray for me please,” she wrote. “Can’t even begin to explain how brutal the body aches and nausea that come with COVID are. I am in so much pain.”
Incumbent Democrat Lois Frankel crushed Trump-backed Loomer in their race to represent Florida’s 21st congressional district, which includes Trump’s home Mar-a-Lago.
