An anti-vaxxer who contracted COVID at a QAnon conference last month has died.
Doug Kuzma, 61, the host of a program on the far-right “Frog News Network” died of COVID on Jan. 3 after spending days in the hospital on a ventilator.
Kuzma fell ill after attending the right-wing “ReAwaken America Tour” event in Dallas last month. Though several people who attended the conference became sick with COVID-like symptoms after the event, conspiracy theorists claim they were victims of an anthrax attack.
In December pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood posted on Telegram that Kuzma found out he had COVID after returning from a “patriot conference” and had “taken a turn for the worse” as “his lungs are not responding to treatment.”
Frog News, Kuzma’s podcast network said the last contact with Kuzma was on December 19, when he shared a photo of ivermectin he had stockpiled before heading to the conference.
Kuzma was “sedated and placed on a ventilator” on Christmas morning. Days later he died.
“Doug went to be with the Lord Jesus, on Jan. 3rd,” the network said adding, “there are many questions that needs to be answered.”
Kuzma was one of several guests who attended Clay Clarke’s “ReAwaken America tour” to show COVID-like symptoms. The event ran from December 9 to 11 and had several speakers spreading conspiracy theories about the election and COVID including MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and Trump’s former national security advisor, Michael Flynn.
In the days after the conference, as more people fell ill with COVID-like symptoms, conspiracy theorists claim they were victims of a “bioweapons” attack from anthrax being pumped through fog machines instead of believing that the event was likely a COVID superspreader.
