Antiracist Baby' becomes an Amazon bestseller after Ted Cruz's rant at Judge Jackson's confirmation hearing

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz efforts to smear a children’s book promoting anti-racism seem to have backfired as the book skyrocketed to the top of the Amazon sales charts.

During the second day of Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing, Cruz held up a copy of “Antiracist Baby” by Dr. Ibram X Kendi and asked the judge if she believes “babies are racist,” as he pressed her about her views on critical race theory and the books that are taught at a D.C. private school where she is a board member.

Now, the book has skyrocketed to the top of the Amazon charts.

Antiracist Baby” is currently the number 1 best-selling children’s book in the United States. It is also the best selling children’s book under the category of “difficult discussions,” and number 6 under the category of “growing up & fact of life.”

Cruz also boosted sales of “The End of Policing.” The book’s author, Alex Vitale, thanked Cruz on Twitter for making his book an Amazon bestseller.

“Thanks to Ted Cruz, The End of Policing is now the #1 Best Seller in Gov. Social Policy,” Vitale tweeted Tuesday night. “Every purchase now comes with a vial of Ted Cruz tears.”

The End of Policing” is also a number 1 bestselling book under the category of ‘Law Enforcement’.
