A 15-year-old high school student in Arkansas who was shot in what police called a “targeted” attack has died, his mother confirmed on Wednesday.
Officers also confirmed that the unidentified teen died on Wednesday.
He was admitted to hospital in critical condition on Monday when he was shot in the hallway at Watson Chapel Junior High School, while students were changing classes.
The suspect has been identified as Thomas Quarles, also 15. He will be charged as an adult with first-degree battery in the shooting, KLRT reported.
