Authorities arrest man who wore Burberry to storm the Capitol.

A Capitol rioter who wore designer clothing while storming the Capitol on Jan. 6 was arrested and charged on Thursday, according to court documents.

Christian Kulas 24, from one of Chicago’s most exclusive and wealthy suburbs was arrested and charged with unlawful entry of the Capitol and disorderly conduct in connection with the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Both charges are misdemeaners and punishable by a maximum of 1 year in prison although supervised release is also a possible punishment, WGN9 reports.

According to court document Kulas updated his Instagram stories throughout the day with videos of the insurrection beginning from the security barriers surrounding the Capitol to inside the building.

A witness later shared these videos with the FBI.

In one of the videos, Kulas pans the camera around and showed his face. “The individual depicted in the video is laughing,” court documents say. “The individual is wearing dark baseball type hat with ” KEEP AMERICA GREAT” in bright orange letters on the hat. The individual was also wearing a dark coat with a Burberry print around the hood of the coat”

Attorneys indicate that Kulas will be staying at his parents’ $4.5 million mansion that sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. His mother has agreed to be responsible for him keeping upcoming court dates and his dad agreed to remove two guns from the home.

More than 400 people have been charged so far in connection to the Jan. 6 insurrection
