HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson tested positive for the coronavirus after attending Donald Trump’s election night watch party at the White House.
Carson tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning. His deputy chief of staff says he is in “good spirits & feels fortunate to have access to effective therapeutics which aid and markedly speed his recovery,” according to NBC news reporter Katherine Faulders.
On Saturday, Bloomberg News reported that Chief of Staff Mark Meadows who was also present at Tuesday night’s watch party at the White House, tested positive for COVID-19.
