Berlin's Madame Tussauds throws wax Trump in a dumpster ahead of elections.

Madame Tussauds Berlin threw their wax figure of Donald Trump into a dumpster, ahead of the U.S. presidential elections, according to Reuters.

The wax figure was placed in a dumpster surrounded by garbage bags, a discarded MAGA hat and tweets reading “You are fired”, “Fake News” and “I love Berlin”. The entire scene was staged in front of Trump Tower.

The museum’s marketing manager Orkide Yalcindag told Reuters that the move was “symbolic” and a “preparatory measure” ahead of next Tuesday’s U.S. presidential elections.

“Today’s activity is rather of a symbolic character ahead of the elections in the United States,” said Yalcindag. “We here at Madame Tussauds Berlin removed Donald Trump’s waxwork as a preparatory measure.”

This is not the first time Madame Tussauds has used a Trump figure to make a statement. According to The Hill, the museum’s New York location placed a face mask on Trump’s wax figure in August to encourage visitors to wear them to help fight the spread of the coronavirus.
