President Joe Biden joked that he got “sandbagged” after he tripped and fell at the Air Force academy graduation ceremony on Thursday.

“I got sandbagged!” Biden joked to reporters when asked about his fall.

The White House said Biden was not injured in the incident.

“He’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands,” White House communications director Ben LaBolt tweeted.

Biden, 80, is already the country’s oldest president, and is running for a second term. He has fallen in public before, including falling off his bike in Delaware last year.

However, Biden’s doctor has said he remains fit to serve as president.
