President Joe Biden mocked Donald Trump after the former president’s much hyped ‘major announcement’ turned out to be a new line of digital trading cards.
On Wednesday, Trump teased a ‘major announcement.’ Some people were speculating that he would be throwing his hat in the ring to be the House Speaker.
But the announcement turned out to be a digital trading card collection of Trump’s cartoon head on several costumes, including astronaut, cowboy, sheriff and athlete.
Trump was ridiculed for the stunt and his supporters expressed disappointment.
President Biden joined in later on Thursday, trolling Trump by releasing some ‘major announcements’ of his own.
“I had some MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS the last couple of weeks, too…” Biden tweeted and listed inflation easing in recent weeks, the signing of legislation to protect same-sex and interracial marriage, a prisoner swap that brought home WNBA star Brittney, falling gas prices and bringing thousands of jobs to Arizona.
