Black Republicans effort to mobilize Black voters for Donald Trump in Baltimore fell flat on Thursday.
The Black Conservative Federation embarked on a bus tour this week aimed at mobilizing Black Republican voters ahead of the November presidential election.
According to WYPR Baltimore, the bus was greeted by “a crowd of fewer than a dozen Black Republicans” when it rolled into Northwood Plaza Thursday for their final stop on the tour.
The outlet noted that many of attendees are members of the local Republican Central Committee.

Speakers at the event claimed Black people were better off under Trump while standing in Baltimore, the city that Trump infamously called a “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess” in 2019.
Residents were not pleased to see the pro-Trump bus on the plaza.
“Why would you send Trump people here in our area? It don’t make sense for them to send someone out and thinking someone’s going to follow you that way,” Leslie Harvey, a resident told WBALTV.
“I’m extremely shocked and angry and appalled, and it’s disrespectful to have this here, whatever it is,” another resident Tiana Smith said. “It’s a slap in the face. He clearly said he’s not for the Black community or anybody else.”
