Capitol rioter refuses to concede and is demanding a recount after getting trounced in Michigan GOP primary.

Candidate charged in Capitol riot demands a recount after getting trounced in Michigan GOP primary.

Ryan Kelley, a Capitol rioter seeking the Republican Party nomination for governor of Michigan, is demanding a recount after finishing a distant fourth in the primary on Tuesday night.

Kelley received about 15% of the vote and finished more than 25 points behind winner Tudor Dixon (40%) but is demanding a recount for “election integrity” and said he will not concede.

“Looks like the ‘testing’ was not testing after all, and it was a release of their preferred and predetermined outcome,” Kelley posted on Facebook. “NOT CONCEDING! Let’s see the GOP and the predetermined winner call for a publicly supervised hand recount to uphold election integrity.”

Kelley did not provide any evidence to support his claims of fraud in the election.

Kelley was arrested in June and charged with misdemeanors for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. He has pleaded not guilty.
