White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, took a break from moonlighting as a Trump campaign spokesperson to return to the White House briefing room for the first time since October 1, on Friday.
Nothing much has changed since then. She’s back to attacking the media, Democrats and the intelligence community accusing them of being “unfair” to Donald Trump throughout his presidency.
After she ended her rant, McEnany started leaving the briefing room as reporters shouted questions at her.
“I don’t call on activities,” she sniped.
But, CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins was not having it and she offered a very sharp rebuttal to McEnany calling journalists “activists”.
“I’m not an activist and you haven’t taken questions since October 1st,” Collins said. “And you just took about five, Kayleigh. That’s not doing your job. Your taxpayer-funded job!”
