The chairman of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) has been in talks to publish a book about the effort to impeach President Joe Biden.
Axios first reported that publisher Harper Collins posted a link on their website showing a placeholder cover for a book by Comer titled, “All the President’s Money,” set to be released Sept. 10.

Comer is leading the House impeachment investigation looking into the Biden family’s business dealings. The investigation has come crashing down around him due to a lack of evidence and series of embarrassing public failures.
Comer is now left searching for an off-ramp to save face and in previous weeks has floated the idea of criminal referrals instead of impeachment.
In a statement to Axios, Comer’s spokesman Austin Hacker admitted that the congressman is in talks with Harper Collins, but no deal has been struck yet.
“The link was put up in error by Harper Collins,” Hacker said. “Although he has been in discussions with Harper Collins about a potential book, he has not entered into a publishing agreement with any publisher including Harper Collins.”
Hacker said Comer has asked Harper Collins to take down the link, but it is still up on the publisher’s page.
