The Trump campaign appears to be suggesting that convicted felons should not be allowed to vote in an attack on Democratic Vice-Presidential candidate Tim Walz, despite the former president being a convicted felon.
On Tuesday Harris announced Walz as her running mate in the November presidential election. The Trump campaign wasted no time in going after Walz trying to paint him as a “dangerous liberal” who is soft on crime
In a statement, Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt criticize Walz for “embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote.”

Trump is a convicted felon. He was convicted of 34 felony counts by a New York City jury in his hush money case in May. Trump also faces several other charges in federal and state cases.
