Crowd boos Lindsey Graham during Trump's victory speech in South Carolina.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was booed by his own constituents during Donald Trump’s victory speech in South Carolina on Saturday after winning the GOP primary election in the state.

Graham was booed and jeered after Trump introduced him by saying “when I’m in trouble on the left, I call up Lindsey Graham and he straightens it out.”

“He’s a good man, come up here,” Trump said, inviting Graham to speak as the booing continued. “We have a highly opinionated group of people here!”

The booing continued during Graham’s brief remarks even though he praised Trump as “the most qualified man to be president of the United States.”

Trump easily won the South Carolina GOP primary Saturday, defeating the state’s former governor Nikki Haley.
