Cybertruck explodes outside Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas.

A Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday morning killing the driver and injuring seven others.

Video posted to social media shows the truck engulfed in flames outside the hotel lobby.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud noise and seeing smoke billowing from the area.

Authorities described the explosives in the vehicle as a combination of fireworks, camping fuel and gas tanks, according to CNN

Las Vegas police said they are investigating the incident as a crime and “possible act of terror.”

The vehicle was rented using the app Turo, according to the Associated Press.

It was the same app allegedly used by the suspect who drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans early on New Year’s Day killing at least 15 people and injuring more than 30 others.

Authorities are also investigating that incident as a possible act of terrorism and whether the two acts were connected.
