Democratic Congressman Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) claims he saw Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert leading a large group tour around the Capitol before the deadly attack on January 6, though he was not sure if any of the individuals who took part in the tour was also involved in the attack.
“Congressman [John] Yarmuth refreshed my recollection yesterday,” Cohen told CNN. “We saw congress[woman] Boebert taking a group of people for a tour sometime after the 3rd and before the 6th. I don’t remember the date, [but] we were walking in a tunnel. We saw her and commented who she was, and she had a large group with her.”

Boebert denied leading a tour of the Capitol between the dates Cohen listed shortly after his comments aired.
“I did not give any tours between Jan 3rd and 6th,” Boebert told a USAToday reporter.
