DeSantis dismisses Trump’s attacks as ‘just noise.’

Ron DeSantis releases new ad suggesting God made him on the 8th day.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) brushed off attacks from former President Donald Trump as “just noise” while taking questions at a high school on Tuesday.

“One of the things I’ve learned in this job: When you’re leading and getting things done, you take incoming fire. That’s just the nature of it,” he said. “What you learn is — All that’s just noise. What matters is: Are you leading and getting in front of issues? Are you delivering results for people and standing up for folks? If you do that, none of that stuff matters.”

“That’s what we’ve done,” he continued. “We’re focused on results and leadership. At the end of the day, I’d tell people to go check out the scoreboard from last Tuesday night.”

Republicans are flocking to DeSantis following the party’s poor performance in last Tuesday’s midterms which they blamed on Donald Trump.

This has led to Trump stepping up attacks on DeSantis calling him “Ron Desanctimonious” and an “average” governor who would not have a political career if he hadn’t endorsed him during the 2018 primary.

DeSantis comments come on the same day Trump is expected to announce a third bid for the White House.
