The Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be launching several billboards across Milwaukee highlighting Donald Trump’s comments trashing the city on Thursday.
Trump referred to the city as “horrible” in a closed-door meeting with House Republicans, weeks before the start of the Republican convention there.
“Milwaukee, where we are having our convention, is a horrible city,” Trump said, according to Punchbowl News’ Jake Sherman.
The DNC will run 10 billboards across Milwaukee, the largest city in the crucial swing state of Wisconsin, Axios reports.
Five billboards will feature Trump’s comments and their other five will feature Sherman’s social media post reporting the remarks.
