DNC raises $15.4 million in President Biden's first 100 days in office.

The Democratic National Committee raised $15.4 million online during President Biden’s first 100 days in office showing that the massive small-dollar numbers last year weren’t solely based on opposition to Trump, Axios reports.

The sum is more than the DNC raised during the corresponding periods in the Obama and Trump presidency. The DNC raised $427,000 in the first 100 days of Obama’s first term, and $4.7 million in the first 100 days of Trump’s single term in office.

The DNC also saw a 60% increase in the number of donors who gave in the first 100 days of Biden’s presidency, compared to the first 100 days of Trump’s, according to Axios.

One of the DNC’s top fundraising days came last Wednesday when President Biden delivered his speech to a joint session of Congress. The committee raised six times more online from 8pm to 12am ET than it did the previous night with contributions coming from all 50 states.

The DNC also saw an increase in donations when Biden held a campaign rally in Georgia to celebrate his first 100 days.

The Republican National Committee raised $22 million in the first quarter of the year, according to FEC filings. It is not clear how much of that came from online donations or after Biden waa on office.
