Don Jr claims God sent lightning and thunder to delay White House Easter egg roll as punishment for “blasphemy”

Now Donald Trump Jr is pushing racist comments about Haitian migrants.

Donald Trump Jr claimed on Monday that God sent a thunderstorm to delay the start of the annual White House Easter egg roll due to “blasphemy.”

“After this weekend blasphemy, this has to be a sign from God!,” Don Jr. whose father, Donald Trump, spent Easter Sunday comparing himself to Jesus and is selling a ‘Trump-endorded Bible’ for $60, wrote in a post on X/Twitter.

The Associated Press reported that the White House Easter egg roll was delayed on Monday due to a thunderstorm. However, things got underway after about 90 minutes with more than 40,000 people in attendance.

Republicans over the weekend slammed President Biden for recognizing Sunday, March 31, which happens to be the day Easter falls on this year, as Transgender Day of Visibility.

The International Transgender Day of Visibility has been celebrated on March 31 for more than a decade to honor transgender people and raise awareness about the discrimination they face.

Easter, meanwhile, is usually observed on the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox on March 21. Easter, therefore, can fall on any Sunday between March 22 and April 25. This year it coincided with Transgender Day of Visibility.

“This is the left’s new religion,” Don. Jr wrote in response to the announcement from the White House. “They want people worshiping the trans flag instead of God. They must be stopped.”
