Donald Trump requests mail ballot to vote in Palm Beach municipal election.

After months of railing against mail-in voting, Donald Trump has requested a mail ballot to vote in Palm Beach’s municipal election, the Palm Beach Post reports.

Trump reportedly requested a ballot on Friday, nearly a week after the deadline to have a ballot be sent by mail. Mail ballots can be requested through Tuesday but must be picked up in person by the voter or a designee. Trump likely had an associated picked up his ballot like he did in the past.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Trump’s ballot had not been recorded as counted as of noon Monday.

Palm Beach County elections chief Wendy Sartory Link said her office issued 126,136 mail ballots, to the 349,099 residents who are eligible to vote in the municipal elections.

Last year, Trump blasted mail-in voting while running for re-election but praised Florida’s vote-by-mail system.

“Whether you call it Vote by Mail or Absentee Voting, in Florida the election system is Safe and Secure, Tried and True,” he tweeted. “Florida’s Voting system has been cleaned up (we defeated Democrats attempts at change), so in Florida I encourage all to request a Ballot & Vote by Mail!”

Trump has requested mail in ballots twice in the past, for the presidential primary last March and for the August primary.
