Days after leaving the White House right wing billionaire Elon Musk blasted the massive bill which encompasses Donald Trump’s domestic policy agenda as a “disgusting abomination.”
“I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” Musk wrote in a post on X. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
Musk previously criticized the Trump-backed “big, beautiful” bill.
“I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing,” Musk told CBS on Sunday. “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both.”
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the bill in its current form will increase the deficit by $3.8 trillion over 10 years.
The bill also cuts hundreds of billions of dollars in spending from Medicaid and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) which would result in at least 7.6 million Americans losing health care coverage from the Medicare cuts alone.
