Elon Musk suspends Kanye West for tweeting image of swastika with Star of David

Elon Musk announced on Friday that the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was suspended from Twitter after he tweeted an image of a swastika with the Star of David.

On Thursday Ye shared the image of the swastika blended into the Star of David, with the caption: “YE24 LOVE EVERYONE.”

The tweet was later deleted.

Ye also tweeted an unflattering photo of Musk on a yacht, writing: “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet.”

In a tweet on Friday, Musk confirmed that Ye’s account was suspended for ‘incitement of violence.”

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk wrote.

Ye’s suspension came hours after he praised Nazis and Adolf Hitler on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones podcast.

“Well, I see good things about Hitler,” Ye told Jones, later adding, “I like Hitler.”

“You can’t say out loud that this person never did anything good and I’m done with that, I’m done with the classifications, and every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” Ye also said.
