European leaders laugh at Trump over claim he ended nonexistent war.

European leaders were seen on video laughing at Donald Trump over a gaffe he made claiming to have ended a war between Albania and Azerbaijan – a war that never happened.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama jokingly scolds French President Emmanuel Macron about not congratulating Albania and Azerbaijan for brokering a peace deal thanks to Trump.

“You should make an apology to us because you didn’t congratulate us for the peace deal that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan,” Rama said while Macron and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev laughed.

“I’m sorry for that,” Macron responded sarcastically.

“He worked very hard,” Rama said of Trump.

“You are obsessed about Armenia and you didn’t thank Trump for Albania,” he added.

During his second term Trump has repeatedly said he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for stopping “six or seven” wars, a claim that is a wild exaggeration.

Among the wars Trump claims to have ended is the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. But he has repeatedly struggled to recall the countries and falsely claimed to have brokered peace between Azerbaijan and “Albania.”

He made the mistake on Fox News, as well as during a press conference in England, where he also struggled to pronounce Azerbaijan.
