Ex-Trump lawyer mocks his appearance at Libertarian Convention: 'This is what happens when you talk to regular voters'

After Donald Trump was relentlessly booed at the Libertarian Party Convention on Saturday, one of the former president’s ex-attorneys joined in to mock him.

Delegates at the Libertarian National Convention at the Washington Hilton booed, jeered and shouted insults at Trump and his clumsy attempt at trying to win them over during his half an hour speech.

Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis, took to X to mock the former president after his hostile reception at the event.

“This is what happens when he talks to regular voters who want accountability for government lockdowns and the covid vax, not MAGA groupies who travel to the Bronx for rallies,” Ellis wrote.

“Some Trump advisor is totally getting fired tomorrow. And then rehired probably by June,” she added.

Ellis, who served as Trump’s lawyer during the 2020 presidential campaign, has said she cannot support Trump in the 2024 elections due to his malignant narcissistic tendencies.

“I know [Trump] well as a friend and a former boss, I have great love and respect for him personally. I simply can’t support him for elected office again,” Ellis said on her radio show last year. “Why I have chosen to distance is because of that frankly malignant, narcissistic tendency to say that he’s never done anything wrong.”
