The country’s top infectious disease expert and White House Chief Medical Adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Sunday that he would never work with Donald Trump again even if he won the presidency in 2024.
Fauci simply answered “no” when asked by CNN host Jim Acosta about the possibility of returning to the White House to work with Trump.
Trump has hinted at a possible run for the presidency again in 2024 but he is yet to make an official announcement.
Asked if he has confidence in Trump’s ability to handle another pandemic like COVID Fauci said: “If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know, at best, you can say it wasn’t optimal. History will speak for itself about that.”
