Fetterman fires back after Oz’s campaign attacked his health.

Fetterman raises $500k after Dr. Oz viral 'crudité' video.

Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman fired back at Mehmet Oz on Tuesday night after the GOP candidate’s campaign mocked his stroke attack.

“I had a stroke. I survived it. I’m truly so grateful to still be here today,” Fetterman wrote. “I know politics can be nasty, but even then, I could *never* imagine ridiculing someone for their health challenges.”

Earlier on Tuesday, the senior communications advisor for Oz’s campaign, Rachel Tripp told in a statement, “if John Fetterman had ever eaten a vegetable in his life, then maybe he wouldn’t have had a major stroke and wouldn’t be in the position of having to lie about it constantly.”

The comment comes after Oz and his campaign tried and failed for the past week to explain a viral video in which Oz mispronounced the name of the grocery store he was in while struggling to shop, and saying that the cost of crudité is outrageous due to inflation.
