Fetterman tells James Carville to “shut the f*** up” about Biden poll numbers.

Fetterman tells James Carville to "shut the f*** up" about Biden poll numbers.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) lashed out at Democratic strategist James Carville who expressed concerns about President Joe Biden’s chances in 2024 due to his low poll numbers.

Fetterman told Politico that he is “not worried” about current polls, “there’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November.”

“I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the fuck up,” Fetterman added. “Like I said, my man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president. I’ll never understand that.”

Carville has been warning for some time that Biden may not win re-election against Trump in 2024.

Carville recently told The Atlantic that top Democrats are telling him to stop talking about Biden’s poll numbers.

“Nobody is saying, ‘James, you’re wrong.’ They’re saying, ‘James, you can’t say that,’” he said. “I’m looking at polling data, and I’m looking at all of it. The president’s numbers are just not good — and they’re not getting any better.”

A recent poll shows the president trailing Trump in seven key swing states including Pennsylvania.

Asked to respond to Fetterman’s comments Carville dismissed the idea of him being irrelevant, saying Democratic senators have asked him to campaign and host fundraisers for them.

As for Fetterman, Carville said, “I’m glad he’s feeling better.”
