Police in Florida have reportedly recovered a sex tape involving Moms For Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler and another woman during their ongoing rape investigation of her husband Florida GOP chairman Christian Ziegler.
Ziegler is accused of raping a woman who had previously engaged in a three-way sexual encounter with him and his wife. The woman reportedly backed out of another threesome after she found out Bridget could not make it. But Ziegler showed up to her apartment anyway and raped her.
Ziegler admitted to police that he recorded the video of the October 2 incident and claims it was consensual. But the woman told police she was intoxicated and unable to give consent, according to court documents.
Now, investigators have recovered a second sex tape showing Bridget engaging in sexual relations with a woman, according to the Florida Trident. It’s unclear if it is the same woman who accused Christian Ziegler of raping her.
This latest development comes after the Florida GOP voted last week to strip Ziegler of his power, reduce his salary to $1 and suspend his reimbursements, which together had been about $124,000 a year. Party officials also scheduled a vote for Jan. 8, 2024 to formally oust him from his position and elect a new chair since he is refusing to resign.
The Sarasota County School Board also voted 4-1 to request Bridget Ziegler resign from the board. Ziegler was the lone dissenting vote.
