Former Pence aide urges him to endorse Harris.

A former aide to ex-Vice-President Mike Pence called on him to endorse Kamala Harris for president because it is the “right thing” to do.

In an interview with MSNBC on Sunday Olivia Troye, Pence’s former national security adviser, urged her ex-boss to throw his support behind the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

“If [Pence] out there listening right now, I encourage you to do the right thing,” Troye said. “Again, you’ve shown tremendous courage in the past. You know what’s at stake more than anyone here and your voice can make an enormous difference for conservatives across the country.”

Troye is among the group of nearly 30 Republicans who are a part of the Harris campaign’s new ‘Republicans for Harris’. The group also includes former Trump White House press secretary, Stephanie Grisham.

The group will launch with events in key battleground states on Monday.

Pence, who launched an unsuccessful bid for the GOP nomination for president this year, announced that he will not be endorsing Trump in the presidential election.
