Four stabbed at pro-Trump DC rally.

Four people were stabbed on Saturday night as the proud boys and counter-protesters clashed after a pro-Trump rally in Washington D.C.

The Washington Post reported that the stabbings occurred near a bar that served as a rallying point for the pro-Trump right wing group, the proud boys.

The four stabbing victims are in critical condition. In total, DC Fire and EMS transported eight people from the protest, including two police officers with non-life-threatening injuries and two people with minor injuries, CNN reports.

Twenty-three people were also arrested.

The ‘stop the steal’ protest came one day after the Supreme Court rejected a Texas lawsuit which aims to invalidate electors from four key battleground states that President elect Joe Biden won.

Attendees at the rally cheered as some prominent right wing speakers railed against the Supreme Court, Joe Biden and the Republican Party. At one point they broke out in a “Destroy the GOP” chant because of the party’s failure to overturn the election and give Donald Trump a second term.
