Fox News host claims Trump rally crowds are bigger than ‘No Kings’ protest: ‘Not a huge anti-Trump appetite in the country’

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany claims most people support Donald Trump’s polices while dismissing the millions of Americans who hit the streets on Saturday to protest the president’s policies at “No Kings” rallies in cities and towns across the US.

“I’ve got to be honest, the Trump rallies look bigger than what we are seeing,” McEnany said in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “Not sure there’s a huge anti-Trump appetite here across the country.”

Polling consistently shows Trump with an approval rating below 40 percent, and he is underwater on every major issue.

McEnany’s remarks came after Fox News reporter Madison Scarpino reported on the massive crowd at the ‘No Kings’ protest in Atlanta.

More than 2,700 demonstrations were planned in all 50 states on Saturday. Demonstrators voiced their opposition to a range of Trump’s policies, including his threats to democracy, ICE raids, and troop deployments in US cities.

Organizers say nearly 7 million people across the country turned out for the second “No Kings” protests, making it the largest single-day demonstration against a sitting president in modern history.

“There is no greater threat to an authoritarian regime than patriotic people-power,” Ezra Levin, a co-founder of Indivisible, one of the organizers, said.
