A Fox News poll released on Wednesday shows Vice-President Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump in Sun Belt states.
The poll shows Harris had a narrow lead, within the margin of error in three of the four Sun Belt states with Trump is leading in one, also within the margin of error.
Harris leads Trump by 1 point in Arizona (48%-47%) and two points in Georgia and Nevada (48%-46%).
Trump, meanwhile, is ahead in North Carolina by one pplpoint, receiving 48 percent support to Harris’ 47 percent.
Overall, 48 percent of respondents surveyed in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina say they support Harris while 47 percent back Trump.
Harris’ performance is a massive improvement over Joe Biden’s as previous Fox surveys showed the president trailing Trump by 5 or 6 points in each Sun Belt state.
The Trump campaign dismissed the Fox News polls, calling it “atrocious” and saying it “has an awful track record.”
The Fox News poll was conducted on Aug. 23-26, 2024 and included 4,053 registered voters across the four states. The overall margin of sampling error is ±1.5 percentage points, and for each state, the margin is ±3 percentage points.
