Fox News reporter: ‘Putin came in and steamrolled’ Trump.

Fox News White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich said Donald Trump was steamrolled by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a summit on Friday.

Trump and Putin met at an Alaska military base to discuss a potential deal to end the war in Ukraine.

They did not emerge from the summit with an agreement though Trump claims they made “great progress.”

Heinrich delivered a blunt assessment of the joint press conference that followed the summit on Fox News.

She called it “stunning” that Putin addresses the press first, noting that “usually, it is the leader of the host country of a summit that speaks first and addresses.”

“The way that it felt in the room was not good. It did not seem like things went well, and it seemed like Putin came in and steamrolled, got right into what he wanted to say and got his photo next to the president and then left,” Heinrich continued in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “Of course, that is only the piece of the picture that we have right now, and certainly President Trump, who is the host and who is, the president, would not want to, I think, enable something that would make him look weak.”
