Fox News on Sunday blamed President Joe Biden for Tropical Storm Hilary hitting California.
“The big story tonight: The wrath of Tropical Storm Hilary. 42 million desperate souls in the path of the storm which made landfall in Mexico several hours ago. But they let it right into the country because it’s Biden’s America,” host of ‘The Big Weekend Show,’ Kennedy said during the introduction.
Kennedy continued: “Its impact far from over. This is the first tropical storm to hit California since 1939, when Joe Biden started his Senate career,” she added appearing to mock Biden’s decades long career in public service.
Biden began serving in the Senate in 1973 and wasn’t born when the last tropical storm hit California.
Hilary is the “first tropical storm to hit Southern California in 84 years, the Associated Press reports.
The storm is expected to bring “potentially historic” amount of rain, meteorologists say. Flooding and numerous rock and mud slides have already been reported in some areas.
