Fox News has instructed its anchors not to refer to Joe Biden as ‘President-elect’ when the network calls the race, according to CNN.
CNN obtained a memo sent to anchors at Fox News telling them to “stay away” from calling Biden ‘President-elect’ and instead say he “has enough votes to win the presidency.” A change from 2016 where they referred to Trump as the ‘President-elect’ the day after the election.
Fox News wants its anchors to shift coverage to Trump’s frivolous lawsuits challenging the results.
This comes after many in Trump world became furious at the Trump friendly network for calling the state of Arizona for Biden on Tuesday night. The network’s decision desk, repeatedly said they stay stand by their call.
