Controversial Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz (Fl.) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) appear to have been pranked by comedian Walter Masterson during their stay in California over the weekend after a third venue in the state canceled their event.

As Gaetz and Greene stood on the beach taking photos with their fans, Masterson, decked out in red, white and blue attire excitedly approached the pair.

Turning to Greene he exclaimed, “Oh, my God! I’m so excited. Everybody thinks you’re crazy. I don’t think you’re crazy.”

Turning to Gaetz he said, “People think you’re a pedophile. I don’t think you’re a pedophile. I don’t think you’re a pedophile at all. The charges against him are totally false.”

Gaetz is under federal investigation for alleged sex trafficking of a minor and prostitution and Greene lost her House committee assignments after past comments resurfaced of her encouraging political violence against top Democratic officials and blaming Jewish space lasers for the deadly wildfire in California in 2018.

The two controversial far-right members of Congress have been touring the country since May for their “America First” rally.

Three venues in California canceled their scheduled rally on Saturday forcing the pair to hold a protest outside City Hall in Riverside, where one of the events was canceled.
