Conservative attorney and Donald Trump critic, George Conway, donated nearly $1 million to President Joe Biden.
Conway, the ex-husband of former Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, donated $929,600 to the Biden Victory Fund, the maximum amount allowed, according to Axios.
Conway will also headline a fundraiser for President Biden in D.C. on April 24, where the minimum donation is $500.
The event will be Conway’s first ‘big pro-Biden event’, Axios noted.
Conway has been a vocal critic of the former president during his multiple appearances on cable news. He has also said that he is trying to make amends for previously supporting Trump.
“I am ashamed that I supported him in 2016. It was a mistake of judgment. It was just to make a moral judgment. It was an intellectual mistake,” Conway said, according to Mediaite.
