GOP commission in New Mexico refuses to certify election results.

A Republican-led commission in Otero County, New Mexico is refusing to certify primary election results over concerns about the voting machines used in the election, according to the Associated Press.

The three-member commission voted unanimously against certifying the results of the June 7 primary without raising any specific concerns about discrepancies in the results, only that they do not trust Dominion voting machines.

Dominion’s systems have been attacked since the 2020 election by people who believe that the election was stolen from Trump. The company has filed defamation lawsuits in response to these outrageous attacks against several top Trump allies.

“I have huge concerns with these voting machines,” Otero County Commissioner Vickie Marquardt said Monday. “When I certify stuff that I don’t know is right, I feel like I’m being dishonest because in my heart I don’t know if it is right.”

The commission also includes ‘Cowboys for Trump’ co-founder Couy Griffin. Griffin has been convicted of illegally entering restricted U.S. Capitol grounds during the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

Democratic Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver filed a lawsuit asking New Mexico’s Supreme Court to step in and order the commission to certify election results because they have no valid reason to not do so.

“New Mexico’s 2022 Primary Election was conducted with the highest standards of election administration by dedicated county clerks and civil servants across our state,” said Oliver. “The post-election canvassing process is a key component of how we maintain our high levels of election integrity in New Mexico and the Otero County Commission is flaunting that process by appeasing unfounded conspiracy theories and potentially nullifying the votes of every Otero County voter who participated in the Primary.”
