GOP congressman finds a way to link New Jersey drone sightings to immigration.

Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) suggested that Chinese migrants who crossed the border illegally might be controlling the drones residents spotted across New Jersey.

Harris made the comment in an interview with Maria Bartiromo after the Fox Business anchor speculated that China is using the drones to ‘surveil America.’

“They certainly could be,” Harris said. “We’ve admitted tens of thousands of Chinese nationals with our wide open border. It’s not beyond belief to believe that some of them are actually flying drones over sensitive facilities.”

“This is absolutely stunning Congressman!” Bartiromo exclaimed. “I mean, no wonder Joe Biden lost and Kamala Harris lost [the election] as hard as they did.”

As residents on the East Coast continue to report drone sightings, a number of conspiracy theories have erupted online about who is behind the mysterious phenomenon.

These conspiracy theories range from alien invasion to secret government operation.

In a joint statement last week, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security said that there is “no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus.”

Harris took issue with the wording of the statement telling Bartiromo, “the fact they say well you know there is no evidence that it is a threat is not the same as saying there is evidence it is not a threat.”

He continued: “Look, they have to come clean in this, obviously, something is going on, the federal government has no control over skies or they are trying to pull wool over our eyes neither one a good thing.”
