GOP lawmaker admits Republicans don't have the votes to impeach Joe Biden.

A GOP lawmaker is admitting that the votes simply aren’t there right now to impeach Joe Biden after months of investigation failed to provide any evidence of wrongdoing by the president.

“We don’t have the votes right now,” a GOP lawmaker told CNN.

There’s a growing sense among Republicans in the Capitol that the window to impeach Biden is closing and they won’t be able to rush an impeachment through because of their razor-thin majority in the House.

Further complicating the issue is the committees leading the impeachment inquiry are yet to provide any evidence that meets the specific threshold of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors to warrant Biden’s removal from office.

“I have seen nothing. I really see nothing. I know what people say. And I watch the news,” Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Penn.) said.

“You’d be hard pressed to say it’s going well. It’s a jumbled mess,” a GOP source told CNN.
