Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) claims former President Donald Trump is so generous he will give voters “the shirt off his back.”
“They don’t understand that Trump will stand for you in a time of need,” Van Orden, famous for bullying teenagers, said at a rally in Indianola, Iowa Sunday.
“He will literally give you the shirt off his back, and he loves his country and his family more than you’ll ever know,” Van Orden said of Trump who steals from charities.
The Wisconsin lawmaker made headlines last year after he reportedly yelled at Senate pages –who are typically high school age students who assist Senate operations–calling them “pieces of shit” while several of them were taking photos of the Capitol dome late one night when the Senate was in session.
Van Orden also threatened a teenage library staffer over a gay pride display as part of the library’s efforts to recognize Pride Month.
The four-time indicted former president is actually willing to give his supporters the ‘shirt off his back’–for a price.
By purchasing 47 Trump-themed digital trading cards at $99 each, so $4,653, supporters could snag a piece of the suit he wore when he was arrested and booked at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia last year in his state 2020 election subversion case.
