GOP lawmaker says Republicans have nothing to campaign on: "It's embarrassing".

Arizona GOP Rep. Andy Biggs slammed his own party on Thursday for having nothing to show for their time in the majority.

Biggs made the comment during an interview on Newsmax when he was asked how many of the 12 annual spending bills House Republicans have completed, according to a clip shared by The Daily Beast.

“None. None. None have been completed,” Biggs said. “There’ve been a few of them. Seven I think have been sent to the Senate from the House. The Senate has not taken up a single one of those bills. How do you campaign on the trust of the American people? You failed and continue to fund this goofy Ukraine, this outrageous Ukraine debacle that’s going on.”

“In my opinion, we have nothing to go out there and campaign on Chris,” Biggs added. “It’s embarrassing.”

Host Chris Salcedo agreed saying: “The Republican party and the Congress of the Majority has zero accomplishments.”

Biggs is not the only Republican to express frustration with the GOP House majority’s lack of accomplishments. In a fiery speech on the House floor last November, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) accused his GOP colleagues of doing nothing useful in the majority.

“I want my Republican colleagues to give me one thing. One. That I can go campaign on and say we did. One!” Roy said at the time. “Anybody sitting in the complex, if you want to come down to the floor and come explain to me one material, meaningful, significant thing the Republican majority has done besides well, ‘I guess it’s not as bad as the Democrats.’”
