Republican congresswoman Mary Miller (Ill.) thanked Donald Trump at a rally on Saturday for the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, hailing the ruling as a “victory for white life”.
“President Trump, on behalf of all the MAGA patriots in America. I want to thank you for the historic victory for white life in the Supreme Court yesterday,” she said.
Trump held a rally in Illinois on Saturday to bolster support for Miller who is challenging five-term Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) in the newly drawn 15th Congressional District.
It is the state’s lone one-on-one GOP congressional primary matchup after redistricting.
Trump nominated three of the five Supreme Court justices who voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.
