9% of Georgia Republicans will sit out the next election if there is no audit of the 2020 election.

GOP survey finds Georgia Republican voters will sit out the next election if there is no audit of the 2020 election.

A survey conducted by Republicans in Georgia found that some MAGA voters plan to not vote in the 2022 midterms if there is no forensic audit of the 2020 election conducted by the state.

According to the New York Times, the internal survey found that 9 percent of Republican voters in Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s deeply red district say they will not vote in future elections unless there is an audit.

The survey finds that 5 percent of Republican voters said they would sit out the 2022 election, while another 4 percent said they would consider sitting out the election absent an audit.

The results of the poll reportedly “surprised” Rep. Greene who has been one of the biggest proponents of the big lie and pushed for states to investigate and possibly overturn the results of the election.

The report comes after former President Donald Trump urged Republicans not to vote in upcoming elections unless the “fraud” of the 2020 elections is uncovered.

“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting in ’22 and ’24,” Trump said in a statement released last Wednesday. “It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud that could have affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

Trump’s lies about the election depressed voter turnout during the Georgia Senate runoff elections on January 5. Georgians elected two Democratic senators as a result, giving Democrats control of the Senate and total control in Washington.
