A woman in a Texas diner told Fox & Friends that she would never cast her vote for another woman and said Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is “probably menopausal.”
On Tuesday, Fox News reporter Will Cain was speaking to voters at a diner in Texas when NBC News reported that former First Lady Michelle Obama released a statement saying she is not running for president in 2024.
The former first lady had to put out that statement in the first place because of a baseless conspiracy theory promoted by Fox News saying Democrats would use her to replace Biden at the top of the ticket in November.
Asked for her reaction to the news, a female diner told Cain, “thank God!”
“I wouldn’t vote for a woman,” she added, in a clip highlighted by Mediaite. “And especially, you know, Nikki Haley, I’m just going to say this, she’s probably menopausal. We don’t need that.”
Republican voters in 15 states, including Texas, head to the polls on Tuesday. Trump is the frontrunner in the GOP primary nomination for president and is expected to sweep the contests ahead of Haley who is his last remaining serious contender.
